June 2022 - Public Exhibition Thank You

The public exhibition 23 - 30 May 2022 for Wind Harvest's plans to improve the consented Beinn Mheadhonach Wind Farm has now closed and Wind Harvest would like to put on record their thanks to residents and community groups that have reviewed the material and been in touch on the plans. The exhibition material will remain on the website for reference and Wind Harvest would welcome to hear from interested residents and community groups on the plans as we progress them before submission in Summer 2022.

There is already a consent for a four turbine project at Beinn Mheadhonach and these new proposals, if consented, will replace the consented four turbine proposal.

If the new proposals are consented, operation would begin in 2026 once wider electricity network upgrades are completed. The wind farm would be rated at 21MW and is expected to produce about 80GWh of carbon-free electricity each year.
